I love everything about Highfields Park – the colours, textures, and the air (particularly in the mornings because they serve freshly baked pastries at the Lakeside Pavillion Cafe). This has been my playground since my first day at Nottingham, and I can only think of many fond memories when people talk about the university park.
It is also almost the time of the year to go boating again, and I cannot wait to have picnics and endless walks under the big, blue sky. The only remains of winter are the bare skeletons of trees, and I am really excited to see flower buds and bulbs helping themselves to the new spring air.
Here are some photos from the morning.
Hope everyone’s having a great Sunday so far!
