I have only met Victor once before his wedding and yet it felt as I am part of his family too, not just his wedding photographer. Such is the warmth shown to me by Victor, Jennifer and their family. Victor and Jennifer had decided early on that their wedding should be personal and they have started planning their wedding many months ago. With the help of their friends and family, the entire hall is decorated with Jennifer’s favourite flower – the sunflower! They even handed each guest with a handmade sunflower. The pastor remarked that there were so many sunflowers in the church, he wondered if he should come dressed as a bumblebee. Later on during the ceremony, he asked them to kiss a few times just to make sure I captured it on camera. He is such a funny guy!
Jennifer looked stunning in her white wedding gown and classy in her aquamarine dinner dress. However, it is her pair of yellow heels which stood out the most. I thought it looked very lovely on her.
Instead of the usual reception, the bride and groom held a casual buffet-style dinner, where they spent more time with their friends and family. And their friends are clearly part of their family. I love it!
