The first thing I want to do when I get home this summer is to look for my first birthday album. I wonder how my cake looked like then (hopefully it was a good one). Anyway, little Toby turns one today! Kelly had organised an amazing first birthday party for him last Saturday, and I had the privilege to photograph that very special day.
I travelled to Manchester by train in the morning, then Kelly drove us to Ashton on Mersey Cricket Club just in time for the party. It was good to see her after first meeting at Rosie’s workshop in Feb, and here she is looking like a very happy mum and as stunning as ever!
Have I mentioned to you how much I love how Kelly’s dress matched Toby’s bandanna? That’s what I call great mum-kid fashion sense! Toby had his friends over at his party, and I must say that they’re a bunch of fun-loving kiddos! Absolutely love them all.
Kitty cat seemed to be a favourite among the girls when it comes to face-painting. The boys were more excited about piñata bashing, and I had one of the best times laughing at their reactions when they saw what they had in front of them. Just look at their precious little faces!
A few of my favourite things during birthday parties as a kid were present opening sessions and Pass the Parcel game – because we get more presents and candies, teehee! I heard that Toby’s opening his presents today so I hope he’ll like them all! Thank you Kelly, for having me over, I had such a fab time. I wish you the very best in motherhood, Toby’s very blessed and lucky to have you as his mum. More photos coming your way soon, hope you’ll like them!
